Tactful Awareness of Self is Key

When going about today, monitor your thoughts and try to determine the underlying intention of each. Our thoughts and actions are triggered by emotions, so it's important to know and understand these emotions. Today, take a mental note of how many times you get angry, sad, jealous, compassionate, giving, attached, controlling, loving, satisfied, and so forth.

By exercising your mind in this degree, you're becoming more in tuned with how many ups and downs you have throughout the day. It's challenging, to say the least, but through practice, becoming more aware of your thoughts will become easier.

The end goal is to be level, in a state of complete harmony...ALWAYS. Where nothing is too exciting and nothing is too harming, you're just perfectly balanced.
